WAITING BEFORE THE HARVEST

Lesson 3: Waiting Before the Harvest  (What God is doing in you is worth the wait) James 5:7-8 (NIV) “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” Waiting can be a hard process. Let’s be honest, when we know something good is coming, the wait feels even longer. Time is moving swiftly, and before you know it, this year will be over. Even though the days are flying by, now is the time to prepare for the new harvest. Spiritually, it is a powerful season to reflect on how God is getting us ready for what’s next. Life is full of swift transitions, and things are quickly changing around us. However, in the midst of all of that, God is still working, and He’s preparing something new, regardless of what the world may say or do. This month, […]

Restored Joy

Scripture: Psalm 51:12 NIV “Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You today with an open heart. Life’s challenges have sometimes drained my joy, but I believe You are the Restorer of all things. Today, I ask You to restore to me the joy of Your salvation. Open my eyes to Your goodness and rekindle hope within me as I reflect on Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Lesson Content: When you look up “joy” in the dictionary, it is defined as an emotion; however, I submit to you that joy is much more than an emotion. It can actually be viewed and […]
